First meeting of MFCC Sub-Committee for review and revise of the MTLAS (2013)

The first meeting of the Sub-committee for review and revise of the MTLAS standard (2013) has been held at the MFCC secretariat office (14 FEB 2020).

Additionally, the sub-committee for this MTLAS review/revise standard has been composed of 12 members. Including from various backgrounds, members from MFCC, Forest Department, Myanma Timber Enterprise, Executive Director from The Nature Conservancy(TNC), Program Manager from MERN, MSG representative and private sectors.

Discussions include :

To specify and approve TOR for the technical sub-committee of the MTLAS review and revise.
To decide who to represents in the expert round table meeting for the MTLAS review after the first draft has been out.
And to the closure of some gaps that have been identified in the past cases.
