Third Sub-Committee meeting for review and revise of the MTLAS

First and foremost, our hearts are with those who have been affected by the COVID-19. As for safety, health and wellbeing are one of the top priorities for the MFCC members and stakeholders and in response to the unprecedented challenges posed by the Covid-19 pandemic, MFCC is currently moving some of the interactions between members and stakeholders into online virtual meetings.

Moreover, the third sub-committee meeting for the review and revise of the MTLAS (2013) has been done via zoom online meeting yesterday 27-04-2020 at 10 am. The members of the sub-committee including from the Forest Department, Myanma Timber Enterprise, NGOs, and MFCC members, as well as the representative from the private sectors, attended this meeting.

Meeting agendas includes:

Consideration of the Consultant and preparation of the TOR for the review and revise of the MTLAS;

Discussion on the internal draft of the MTLAS and

Other general discussions concerning the MTLAS (2013).
